Yorkshire Dales English Lakes Vehicle Day 2010-08-08

The 2010 Yorkshire Dales and English Lakes Historic Day was again hosted at the playing fields in Grange-Over-Sands, South Lakes. First point of note is a fairly hefty increase in admission from £3.50 (2009) to £4.00 (2010). I pointed this out to the gatekeeper with a smile on my lips, but it was not taken in good grace and she promptly had a sense of humour failure. Perhaps I had been the 100th that day.

The weather was nowhere near as glorious as the previous year despite being extremely muggy. Thankfully the threatening skies held firm, and the large spectator turn-out was rewarded with blue skies later in the afternoon.

The vehicle turn-out was slightly less exciting than 2009, but there was enough to spark interest and get a few decent photos!
