Kirkby Lonsdale Car's The Star Show 2010-07-18

The Kirkby Lonsdale Motor Club have an annual 'The Car's the Star' show at Heaves Hotel just outside Kendal. Regrettably, the 2010 event was a distinctly soggy affair. The weather was about as inclement as is possible in a UK August; the rain was monsoon-like, the wind fresh enough to prevent the use of umbrellas, and the temperature barely into the teens. These factors affected the turn out, both in terms of entrants and punters. There were still enough cars around to get some decent saps, but the thunderously grey clouds didn't make aperture selection an easy process.
